Why St. Pete-Clearwater guests love staying with TurnKey...

"Lovely home, very clean and spacious, with lots to do both in the home (swimming pool, ping pong, pool table, foosball, games, books, DVDs and cable TV), and a nice park and beach just a 5-minute walk down the street! We had a wonderful week there with our teenage kids and grandkids!"..."

Group-Friendly Tarpon Springs Duplex
"This is our second stay at this unit. The unit is well-equipped and the view is priceless. Would happily rent here again. We would recommend a deep cleaning for this unit, however. We have shared our concern with Turnkey: all surfaces were clean, acceptable, but areas of the unit have clearly been neglected like thorough vacuuming under the master bedroom bed and a good scrubbing in the guest room shower. Having said that, we find the unit comfortable and love the location, the well-stocked kitchen and the view. Would definitely rent again and found Turnkey easy to work with."..."

Updated 2BR in Boca Ciega Bay Resort
"We were very satisfied with this condo for our 5 night stay with our family of 4 in St. Pete Beach. Location is great as we prefer the southern part of St. Pete closer to passe a grille. The condo is similar to all the standard 2 BR condos in the Vista's on the Beach condo building. However I found this condo to be the most well equipped with kitchen/beach/general amenities compared to the 2 previous condos we rented in this building. I also felt it was a little more updated than previous condos we stayed in at this building. The comfy furniture on the patio was especially nice for enjoying more time outside while taking a break from the pool or beach. Overall my family of 4 (2 boys aged 5 and 3) were very satisfied with this rental."..."

How to pick the perfect vacation rental in St. Petersburg, FL

Plenty of cities push their good weather as an incentive to vacation there, but only St. Petersburg, Florida holds the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive days of sunshine. The waterfront city once went 768 days without a drop of rain, earning the nickname “The Sunshine City.” St. Petersburg is home to numerous beaches all around the city, but it also boasts a vibrant arts scene and hosts several high-profile annual sporting events. This diverse array of activities can satisfy just about any type of visitor.

Follow these tips to help you pick the perfect St. Petersburg vacation rental for your travel plans.

  • Where to stay to attend the Firestone Grand Prix:The Firestone Grand Prix hits downtown St. Petersburg every year in March to open the IndyCar Series season. Attendees get a view of the scenic waterfront as drivers race past popular St. Pete staples such as the Mahaffey Theater and the Dali Museum. The weekend-long race also features a family-friendly festival, including live music, food trucks, and a build-a-racecar tent for kids. Book a vacation rental in downtown St. Petersburg to get as close as possible to the Firestone Grand Prix.
  • Where to stay to visit the Sunken Gardens:Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Petersburg at the Sunken Gardens, 4 acres of botanical gardens located in the Historic Old Northeast District of the city. The Gardens are home to gushing waterfalls, more than 50,000 tropical plants, and, most recently, a young flock of flamingos. The Sunken Gardens are more than 100 years old, and as a result, many plant specimens dwarf those that would usually be found in the wild. Book a vacation rental in the Historic Old Northeast District to be near the Sunken Gardens.
  • Where to stay to go to the beach:Let’s be honest—you can’t go to St. Petersburg and not hit the beach. Spa Beach and North Shore Beach are both nestled in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, enticing visitors with jet skis and paddle boats. Meanwhile, Maximo Park in south St. Petersburg sports a boardwalk and miles of bike trails. Book a vacation rental in the downtown or Maximo neighborhoods depending on which beach best suits your preferences.
  • Where to stay for the Tampa Bay Blues Festival:Don’t let the name fool you: The Tampa Bay Blues Festival takes place at the Vinoy Waterfront Park, just minutes east of St. Petersburg. The three-day festival welcomes a wealth of guitar heroes to the city this April, including Boz Scaggs, Samantha Fish, and Jonny Lang. Book a vacation rental in Waterfront Arts District to be near the sights and sounds of the Tampa Bay Blues Festival.
  • How to choose your St. Petersburg rental experience:Beachgoers can take their pick of locations in St. Petersburg, depending on which beach and other attractions strike their fancy. Whether you book a vacation rental in downtown St. Petersburg, Maximo, the Historic Old Northeast District, or the Waterfront Arts District, you’ll find no shortage of sand and surf. The sun is almost a guarantee in St. Petersburg. You just have to decide how to soak it up.
