Lofted Living: Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna & Rec Room
"Small but perfect base camp for our young family. Property grounds are in rough shape but the unit is very well maintained and cozy."..."

1BR + Loft, 2 Bath Condo w/ Hot Tub & Fireplace
"Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Cabins 14. We own a high end vacation rental and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen and above-average appointments of the unit. The proximity to Eagle Lodge, which is a short 3 minute drive, was very convenient. The door front of the unit is also very close to the heated garage, so unloading, even in the snow, wasn’t too bad. If it weren’t for the 10 ft high snow bank outside of the windows, the view would have been pretty too!"..."

"This was a fantastic condo in Mammoth. It was exceptionally clean, the layout is great and it is very updated with nice decor throughout. Close to bus lines and the mountain. I would definitely stay here again!"..."

Set amid the natural splendor of California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, Mammoth is a year-round getaway for nature lovers. In the winter, strap on the skis or snowboard and carve fresh powder on world-class slopes. In the summer, hike green trails to discover hidden alpine meadows covered in wildflowers, take a dip in a natural hot spring, or float across the crystal-clear water of the mountain lakes. And no matter what season you visit, the fresh mountain air and laid-back lifestyle of small-town Mammoth are sure to refresh and rejuvenate any visitor.

If you are planning a visit to Mammoth, consider renting a vacation home, as more and more visitors do every year. Vacation rentals generally offer more space, privacy and flexibility than traditional resorts and hotels, making them ideal for families and large groups. Enjoy time together in your own living room and cook meals together in the kitchen. Many of the vacation rentals in Mammoth offer unbeatable access to the slopes and exclusive amenities like private hot tubs. And when you’re staying in a TurnKey vacation rental, you don’t have to compromise on your favorite hotel perks: each of our homes offers hotel-quality linens and towels, a starter set of toiletries, 24/7 support from our local team, and is professionally cleaned before your stay.

Here are some things you can look forward to during your stay in a Mammoth vacation rental:

  • Ski! Whether you like to swoosh down the mountain, snowboard, or cross country ski through the forest, you will find your slopes, half-pipes and trails all here in Mammoth. Mammoth Mountain boasts a summit of 11,053 feet and four mountains. You can also find extreme adventure with terrain parks, half-pipes and jibs. A day pass purchased at Mammoth Mountain is also good at nearby June Mountain Ski Area. Should you prefer to cross-country ski, visit Tamarack Cross Country Ski Area which offers numerous trail options from which to select. Amazing scenery awaits you on every trail.
  • Visit Devil's Postpile National Monument This rock formation, composed of columns of basalt rock covering a cliff face, is a rare and unique sight to behold. Occurring randomly in nature and truly fascinating to view, Devil's Postpile is protected as a National Monument. It is located within the Ansel Adams Wilderness area (also known as Inyo National Forest). While there, make sure to check out Minaret Falls.
  • Enjoy the cool mountain waters Lakes, lakes, and more lakes! Mammoth’s crystal clear lakes are famous for their mirror-like reflections of the mountains and sky. Dip your toes or go for a swim. Cool mountain water will invigorate your spirit and rev up your energy. Lake Mary is exactly what you picture when you think of a mountain lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Visit the Lake Mary Marina to rent a boat or kayak for the day or to purchase fishing tackle. Rent a paddle board and get out on the water! Convict lake is very popular with serious fishermen and women, and is known for its trout and its unique history. Other nearby lakes include Horseshoe Lake and Crowley Lake.
  • Warm up in a hot spring After your dip in an alpine lake you can warm your soul at a local hot spring. Wild Willy's Hot Spring is natural, "off the beaten path", and ready to warm you as you take in the mountain air. If you don't mind a drive down a dirt road to get there, you'll never forget this experience. Wild Willy's has two hot spring pools and also offers camping areas if you should want to spend a night out under the stars.
  • Hike for Spectacular Views and Rainbow Falls Go for a hike anywhere around Mammoth Lakes and you will blow away your Instagram followers. Some popular trails include Crystal Lake Trail, with its 2.5 miles of moderate, dog-friendly hiking path, and the Mammoth Crest Trail, which ranges from 4.4 to the 13.2 mile loop. Both trails offer a mountainous journey full of spectacular lake views. Just a few miles from the Devil's Postpile is Rainbow Falls. Water from the San Joaquin River drops over 100 feet to the river below, creating the roar, mist and rainbows you will want to see in person.
  • Play Golf at the "Highest Golf Course in California"

The lowest hole you'll play at Sierra Star Golf Club is above 7,800 feet! You are playing golf in the mountains, and the views all around won't let you forget it. This is a par 70 course which is open to the public. You get a full mountain golf experience here, complete with thin air and the occasional bear sighting.

  • Take a Breathtaking Gondola Ride up Mammoth Mountain At the top of your gondola journey you are over 11,000 feet up. The Gondola service at Mammoth Mountain gives you the option to ride round trip, or to ride only one way and take the gorgeous hike back down the mountain.
