Why Central Coast guests love staying with TurnKey...

"This home and property are immaculate. We had such a great time swimming, hanging out in the jacuzzi and enjoying the stunning views. We hired a gal to cook pizza and appetizers in the pizza oven. Over-the-top and totally reasonable. She brought the app's and we made the pizzas. It was a spectacular evening eating under the stars on huge stone tables. We made it to two wineries.....Roblar just down the street and Rusack about 5 minutes away. We will definitely be back during the summer. Thank you for the organic eggs and wine too!!"..."

Dreamy Wine Country 4BR w/ Pool, Spa & Clubhouse
"If you're planning a wine tasting weekend, this house is in a great location. The house itself was clean and roomy. And the property is beautiful. You do have to drive up a dirt road to get to the house, but the view from top is gorgeous! We had a couple minor issues that were addressed early the next day. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was a bit dated, but totally functional. The bunk bed room had a musty smell that no other room had, but we just kept the door open and it was ok. My daughter didn't have a problem with it. And thanks to the puzzles in the bunk room, my daughter and I are puzzle people now :) I strongly suggest that the owners add rubber mats in the tubs to prevent slipping. Gino's pizza delivered great pizza our first night. One exit away is Solvang where we had a yummy breakfast at Paula's Pancake House - and it was worth the 20 minute wait. We also had dinner one night at La Botte Bistro - delicious Italian food. All in all a fantastic weekend!"..."

Hilltop 5BR Wine Country Retreat
"This place is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our group really enjoyed the second living room with the large sectional sofa and extra-large TV!! The room allowed us to hang out together with space for everyone to sit/relax. The house is well stocked, beds are very comfortable, plush towels and linens. The house is in a quiet, family neighborhood. Vons, CVS, Rite Aid, movie theater, restaurants and more are all very close. Communication was great from beginning to end and the check in/check out process was very smooth. We had one minor issue to report and received a response within an hour - even though it was just an FYI to them."..."

"The house was beautiful, clean and roomy. We had an issue with a broken bed frame and turnkey was beyond polite and came out that day to replace the entire frame while we went wine tasting. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect and it was!"..."

Why rent a vacation home on California’s Central Coast

Stretching from Monterey Bay in the north down to Mugu Point in the south, California’s Central Coast area spans six counties: San Luis Obispo, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Ventura. A drive up the coast on California’s Highway 1 is one of the world’s most famous road trips, full of stunning views and gorgeous towns to stop by. Staying in a vacation rental on the California Central Coast can give your group the privacy and flexibility it needs for a superb vacation, and serve as a launchpad for exploring the Central Coast’s many fantastic sights and activities, including:

  • San Simeon's Hearst Castle The Heart Castle might be the most well-known and eye-popping mansion in the United States. The castle is most famous for its stunning architecture, including the gold glass mosaic tiles in the indoor pool, old Egyptian artifacts, and carefully crafted tapestries in the large dining room. The castle offers several different tours, each focusing on different portions of the expansive property.
  • Visiting a Lighthouse Most visitors are familiar with Big Sur's amazing scenic vista viewpoints off Highway 1, but Big Sur is also home to a unique lighthouse. First completed in the late 1800s, Point Sur Lighthouse is the only complete lighthouse open for visitors. Join a tour on Wednesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays all year and witness incredible water views from the top of the 360 foot summit.
  • Experience Danish Culture Head just a few miles away from the beach for a unique cultural experience. Known as The Danish Village, Solvang is a village designed to look and feel like a traditional community in Denmark. Take your pick from a number of delicious traditional bakeries, admire the Danish architecture and windmill, and take a ride in a horse-drawn streetcar.
  • Discover Living History Santa Barbara is a wonderful beach town that's also home to the beautiful, historical Santa Barbara Mission. Spanish Franciscans first built the mission in 1786 to establish Santa Barbara, and today it's open for viewing to the public. Take a tour to discover the beautiful church, mausoleum and cemetery, and explore the gardens.
  • Sip Some Wine Top wineries dot the entire Central Coast, with Paso Robles in San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County having the largest concentration. Central Coast wineries feature delicious whites and reds and astonishing views, with the added bonus of having quieter atmospheres and lower prices than Napa Valley.

Ready for the trip of a lifetime? You'll have a wonderful time experiencing California's Central Coast!
